I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed. The location in a peaceful Dorset village made for a quiet and relaxing stay. The breakfast was outstanding, with delicious food cooked to order using the best local ingredients. The staff were friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

We stumbled upon a hidden gem in the countryside and had the most delightful stay. The rooms were spacious and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a long day. And the food! We indulged in a mouthwatering three-course meal that left us craving more. The attention to detail in presentation and taste was simply phenomenal. Bouncy bed, salty main meal.

This hotel, located in a picturesque little village, is easily reached in a matter of minutes by car from Dorchester. The rooms are comfortable, with spotless bathrooms and views of the garden. The staff are friendly and helpful. Plus, the breakfast is delicious, made with locally sourced ingredients.

All was perfect.

Had an amazing Xmas at this cozy stay. the food was exceptional and the staff was warm and attentive. Loved the homemade biscuits provided in the room and a variety of hot drinks that could be easily made. the picturesque view of the countryside added to the charm and made for a lovely stroll. Plus, the property was located close to nearby attractions and activities.

While the creaking floorboards added to the cottage vibe, it did make some noise when people walked around upstairs. Would have also preferred a bit more water pressure in the shower.

The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The parking was convenient, and the location in the picturesque little village was very peaceful. We enjoyed sitting in the garden with a drink, surrounded by comfortable rattan chairs and a lovely pond. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
