The staff at this hotel are also very friendly and helpful, ensuring guests have a pleasant stay. the food served in the restaurant is delicious, with a wide variety of choices including vegetarian options.

Had a great Christmas stay at this hotel! The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. The location was fantastic, with lovely views over the river. The evening meals were a highlight, much better than your average pub food. We also loved the quirky charm of our room, with its sloping beamed ceiling and unique cupboard. The room was surprisingly quiet, considering it was in a pub.

The car park was quite small and we sometimes struggled to find a spot. The steep stairs to our top floor room might be difficult for those with mobility issues.

We had a fantastic stay at Ye Olde White Harte! The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with quality pillows and fluffy quilts on the beds. The central location was great, and we loved the amazing river views from our front-facing room. The window seat was an added bonus, perfect for soaking in the scenery.

We spent our Easter weekend at this riverside hotel and had a fantastic time. the location was unbeatable, with stunning views of the river from our room. the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed the tasty pub food on offer. One of the best aspects was the shower which was great, and the room was clean.

The room was a bit basic and lacked certain amenities, such as complimentary toiletries. the decor was a bit outdated and could use some sprucing up.

The location was nice, with a view of the estuary. And the Crouch Golden Ale was superb. But that's really all there is to like about this place. The ploughman's lunch we ordered was average at best, looked like it was thrown together without much thought. And they refused to give us chips unless we ordered a main dinner. The cook, if you can even call them that, seemed lazy and uninterested. I won't be going back here.
