I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location couldn't have been better, right on the lake and next to the pier. The view from my room was absolutely gorgeous. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, they were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room amenities were top-notch, with heating, tea and coffee facilities, and a comfortable sitting area. The shared kitchen was well-equipped and the dining bar/lounge area was a great place to relax. There was also a lovely picnic area with tables where you could enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service and the location was perfect.

The value for money at this YHA was great, with a surprisingly spacious room and comfortable bunk beds. The location overlooking the lake was stunning and the staff were friendly and helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel with stunning lake views. The location was perfect, right on the shores of Lake Windermere and within walking distance of Ambleside town center. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a bar and restaurant that offered reasonably priced food. The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with lockers available for our belongings when we were out exploring the area.

All was perfect.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. We stayed for three nights with our children aged 8, 10, and 14. The location by the lake was beautiful, and the staff were extremely helpful during the flooding, giving us advice on where we could and couldn't access. The hotel had plenty of grounds for the kids to run around, and they especially loved the evening cinema. The on-site bar and café were great, and the cooked breakfasts were delicious. a lovely stay.

We had a great time in the Lake District! Our accommodation was conveniently located near the town center and we were able to easily access all the activities we wanted to do. the staff was really helpful and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the fact that we could easily rent bikes for a reasonable price.

The cleanliness in the shared bathrooms left something to be desired. We understand that many people use the facilities, but we wished they had been cleaned more often.
