The staff at this hotel were absolutely incredible; they were warm, welcoming, and super helpful, especially for a solo traveler like me who speaks little to no Spanish. The breakfast served here was delicious, and I don't have a bad thing to say about my stay. The room I stayed in was well kept and luxurious, and despite being centrally located, the hotel felt peaceful. Its location right in the center of the old city made it convenient to access everything in the walled city and the sea wall.

The interior design of the hotel was modern and refreshing, and the rooftop swimming pool was a highlight. The use of free bikes to explore the city was a fantastic bonus as well. the service and attention to detail at Casa Gastelbondo were top-notch.

The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, with high ceilings and smart styling. the rooftop terrace with a plunge pool was stunning, providing a great place to relax and enjoy the city views. the breakfast in the delightful courtyard was excellent, and the second plunge pool was a bonus. the location of the hotel was perfect, with no noise issues from the nearby street. It was also good value for money.

There were a few minor inconveniences during my stay. the front door buzzer was a bit fast, making it difficult to open, but the staff was always available to let guests in.

As adventure travelers, we loved the on-site scuba diving company and the opportunity to snorkel and dive in the beautiful waters. The access to the sea through steps was convenient for swimming and diving. The hotel pool and relaxed atmosphere were also a highlight. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable, providing information on the wildlife and even resident iguanas. The rooms were comfortable and the hot showers were a welcomed surprise. We also appreciated the availability of bikes for hire.

The rooftop pool was a refreshing escape from the heat of Cartagena, and the free bike rentals allowed me to explore the city with ease. Though there were a few minor inconveniences, such as a motion sensor tap and slow-to-heat shower, they did not overshadow the overall fantastic stay. I highly recommend this hidden gem! I recently had an amazing stay at Casa Gastelbondo Villa. the personalized service and value for money were excellent. the location couldn't be better - on a quiet street, just a short walk to the beach where you can catch the sunset. the facilities, especially the pool and breakfast, were fantastic. Our room on the 3rd floor was spectacular, with direct access to the rooftop pool. It had everything we needed, from a comfortable bed and great water pressure to branded toiletries and a minibar. the check-in process was smooth, and the staff gave us a warm welcome with delicious muffins. I can't wait to return to this lovely place and experience it all over again. the staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Casa Gastelbondo is amazing! Perfect location in Cartagena's Old Town neighborhood. It's on a quiet street that's a bit out of the way from some of the busier plazas and streets, so we only experienced a little bit of street noise, which was great! The rooms are beautifully decorated and our room was spacious with high ceilings and a very nice bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. HIGHLY recommend staying here!

A gem in centro. Close to everything, even my lazy sons could walk to places nearby. Huge rooms, great toiletries, nice bathroom. Felt at home for 6 nights. Breakfast was excellent. Front of house staff were a lifesaver.

The location in the heart of the old town was perfect - it was very close to everything in the walled city, allowing us to easily explore the charming streets and visit all the top attractions. Additionally, the hotel's facilities were wonderful. We loved the rooftop pool with its sweeping views of the city, and the private and cozy feeling of the hotel made it a truly relaxing stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Jennifer who provided us with all the information we needed. Lastly, the breakfast provided was healthy, tasty, and filling, making a great start to our days.
