We had a fantastic time exploring the beautiful Cheddar Gorge, which was conveniently located within a short walk from the hostel. The location was surprisingly quieter in the evening, allowing us to fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The hostel rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We also appreciated the great self-catering facilities and the option of enjoying a delicious cooked breakfast. it was a great base for our adventures in the area.

We had a fantastic time at Yha! the staff, especially Dave, were incredibly kind and helpful. the atmosphere was great and the facilities were top-notch. Our private quad room with two bunk beds was very comfortable, and we slept really well. the kitchen and dining area were spacious and perfect for families or those who prefer to cook their own meals. we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Yha for a memorable travel experience.

We recently stayed at Yha in Cheddar and had a great experience. As a family of four, we booked last-minute and found it to be the perfect option for us. the staff, including the lovely lady who runs the hostel, were friendly and helpful. the facilities were almost perfect, with the only minor issue being a noisy toilet. the surrounding area was relaxing and offered beautiful views. the additional breakfast we paid for was plentiful and enjoyable.

The location is fantastic, with Cheddar Gorge just a stone's throw away and Weston Super Mare within a 30-minute drive. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, making it convenient for exploring the area. The breakfast at the hostel is excellent, with a helpful and pleasant staff serving delicious food. The hostel also offers free parking, which is a bonus.

The check-in policy needs improvement, as it can be difficult to reach the hostel by 8.30 pm, especially during peak traffic hours. This can be stressful and unsafe, especially for families with small children.

had a wonderful family holiday in cheddar, and Yha made it even better. comfy beds, friendly staff, and a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering. loved the garden and bright dining room. staff were always helpful and even accommodated the kids for breakfast. overall, a lovely place to stay.

Check-in was a bit of a hassle due to limited reception opening hours. the noise from children running around early in the morning was an inconvenience.

We stayed at Yha for a quick overnight trip to explore the nearby attractions. The location was perfect, within walking distance of shops and Cheddar Gorge. The parking was ample, and we were impressed by the large and airy self-catering kitchen and pleasant conservatory for dining. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of showers and toilets available. The staff provided excellent local knowledge, helping us find the best route to the Gorge and recommending which caves to visit. We also enjoyed breakfast at Edelweis Café and had a delicious pub meal at the White Hart.

The room we stayed in was small and cramped, making it difficult to move around with ease. the shared bathrooms were not always clean and sometimes lacked basic amenities such as towels.

I had a great stay at YHA. The beds were comfy and perfect for my family, as they were all together in one room. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Dave. They answered all our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The location of the hostel was also excellent, as it allowed us to easily explore Cheddar and Bath. The staff's local knowledge was invaluable in finding the non-paying route to the Gorge and choosing which caves to visit. We also received great restaurant recommendations from them.

We arrived late from Bristol and were greeted by a friendly receptionist who gave us great recommendations for places to eat. Our room was tidy and had all the necessary amenities. Although it was a bit cold in the room, the warm blankets provided a comfortable night's sleep. the location was convenient for visiting Cheddar and easily accessible by public transport.
