We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful property. the location was perfect for exploring the peaks and the price was very reasonable. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved that we had the option of self-catering or buying a cooked meal. the property itself was stunning, with period features and impeccable cleanliness. As a history enthusiast, I particularly enjoyed the historical information and quiz questions scattered throughout. We were genuinely impressed and will definitely be back!

We had a great Easter weekend at this hotel! the rooms were spotlessly clean, exactly what we expected. the beautiful building and surroundings were a big plus, with plenty of car parking available. the staff were lovely and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. We also appreciated the quiet and peaceful location. the fact that there were good walks from the doorstep made exploring the area even easier.

While the wifi could have been faster, it was sufficient for our needs. Another downside was that there was only one picnic table outside the self-catering area, which could be inconvenient when the weather was nice.

The location of the hostel was perfect, right in the centre of a picturesque market town and near a beautiful village. The room was great and the shower was decent. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We also enjoyed the woodburning stove in the common room.

The presence of large groups at the hostel affected our overall experience. They took up all the self-catering facilities, leaving little for others to use.

We had a fantastic weekend staying in a quaint market town surrounded by beautiful countryside. The location was ideal, right in the centre of Harltington, with easy access to all the amenities we needed. We also loved being next to a farm, waking up to the sounds of sheep and chickens. Plus, the proximity to Alton Towers was a great bonus for some added fun. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and filling, setting us up for a day of exploring.

The WiFi coverage was a bit limited, but it didn't hinder our overall experience.

Amazing base for exploring the beautiful Peak District. the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Rhiannon who was an absolute star. the rooms were spacious and clean, with plenty of room for our gear. the drying room was a godsend after our rainy ride. We were pleasantly surprised to find a twin room with single beds and a private shower instead of bunk beds and shared facilities. the self-catering facilities were great and the communal areas were clean and comfortable.

On arrival, there was some confusion regarding our payment, but the staff quickly resolved it. However, this could have been a bigger issue if we weren't proactive.

We had a good time exploring the area around the hotel, there were some great hiking trails nearby. the staff were all very helpful and friendly, which made our stay more enjoyable. the kitchen facilities were also well-stocked and easy to use, which was great for cooking our own meals.

The bedding was old and stained, and the bathrooms were not well-maintained. there were some issues with noise, as the walls were thin and we could hear everything happening in nearby rooms.
