I recently stayed at the 1863 Inn Of for a week while exploring the historical aspects of the area. The location was unbeatable, with great diners, shops, and even a 24-7 convenience store right across the street. The hotel was within walking distance of the Jennie Wade house, museums, and restaurants. The staff was extremely nice, and the rooms had a nice cozy feel to them. The complimentary breakfast was amazing, with plenty of hot and delicious food. The cleanliness and organization of the hotel, along with the friendly housekeeping staff, made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in the historical district! The location is absolutely fantastic, with everything within walking distance. Plus, the prices were very reasonable for what you get. First stay, staff gave me travel tips. Perfect for me with Free Wi-Fi, on-site car park, 24-hour reception, and fitness centre. Also, the seasonal outdoor pool is a plus. The rooms come with a refrigerator, flat-screen TV, and lift. I also love the breakfast and the fact that pets are allowed. I'll be back for Easter!

I recently stayed at a hotel in the historical district and it was a fantastic experience. The location was perfect for me as it's close to many historical sites and pretty much everything else. The staff were friendly and accommodating from the Hotel manager down to the housekeepers. The room amenities, including ironing facilities, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and in-room safe, were all top-notch. Plus, the free wi-fi in rooms made it easy to stay connected. I also appreciated the free toiletries and the TV with a flat-screen and alarm clock. The outdoor swimming pool was a great leisure activity too.

At the intersection of Steinwehr Avenue and Baltimore Street, the hotel's central location made it easy for me to explore the historic district. I felt like I was in the heart of all the action, with shops and restaurants within arm's reach.

Best Location!

I loved being able to step right out of the hotel and immerse myself in the history of Gettysburg. Walking through the historic district was a highlight of my stay. The hotel's banquet facilities were impressive, and the food was delicious. The ghost tours in October added an extra thrill to my visit. I'll definitely recommend this hotel.

My partner and I recently took a romantic escape to a historic town and stayed at a hotel that had a couple of good things going for it. we appreciated the complementary breakfast and Wi-Fi, which saved us a bit of money. the hotel was in a prime location for exploring all the historic sites and dining options. we enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere of the hotel.

Despite the positives, there were a few downsides that we found detracted from our overall experience. the showerhead was positioned too low, which made showering uncomfortable.

The staff at the hotel were so warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. And I must mention the charming Inn Stationary, it added a special touch to our stay. Should I ever return to this area, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the 1863 Inn again.
