my recent stay at americinn was excellent, even better than my last visit to ankeny. the pool area was a great place to relax, and the breakfast selection was genuinely good. overall, i'm pleased with how this stay exceeded my expectations and made for a fun city holiday.

the hot tub was not working properly.

During my stay, the lack of cleanliness was frustrating. The pool area was not only grimy but also lacked proper maintenance, with towels from the previous day littering the deck. I was also disappointed to find that no daily housekeeping was provided, leaving my room messy with no fresh essentials for two days.

The lack of cleanliness in the rooms could definitely use some attention!!! An elevator would improve accessibility for those with luggage or mobility issues!!! Consider updating the decor and addressing the noise disturbances from neighboring rooms!!!

Had a boss time, la! The pool area was top-notch, proper relaxing after a long day. Staff were dead sound, helped us out with anything we needed. Only downside, the gym is more like a closet, barely counts as a gym.

The pool area was awesome and not too cold. We went to Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino and had a great time. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was solid. Just make sure to bring your own snacks if you're a picky eater.

We did run into some trouble at check-in. the first room smelled off. After switching rooms, although better, the shower had issues. It's good to double-check everything upon entering.
