I recently stayed at Americinn in Republic for a weekend getaway. The hotel had a nice pool area and the remote location made it easy to access. The parking lot was fantastic, especially since we were pulling a trailer and needed a safe place to park. The room was clean and comfortable, with fresh-smelling towels. The hot tub was enormous and the pool area was well-maintained. The TV had Directv and the room was quiet. The friendly staff and great service definitely made it a pleasant stay.

Additionally, some guests have noted rough spots and grit on the surface of the pool and hot tub. However, the room and bathroom are clean, towels smell fresh, and big plus to Directv connection. The hotel has an elevator with great pool hours. Keep in mind the ongoing renovations.

Some staff members didn't seem friendly or welcoming, and it's not great that the hotel demands a cash deposit for locals.

The basic amenities were provided and I found the hotel to be very quiet despite its proximity to the main road. Additionally, the breakfast had all the basics including waffles and was always good, offering a nice change from fast food fare while traveling.

The only drawback was the occasional noise from passing trains, so make sure you request a room on the opposite side of the hotel.
