From the moment we walked in, the hotel's stunning design and artistic ambiance took our breath away. The rooftop pool had mesmerizing views, and the bar served fantastic, unique cocktails. The staff went above and beyond, making us feel right at home.

The bar area can get overly crowded at night, making it less inviting.

during my stay, I enjoyed the close proximity to the Willie Nelson Statue, just under a 5-minute walk away, and the beautiful Zilker Botanical Garden, which is only about 2 km away and perfect for an afternoon stroll, making it so easy to explore the vibrant city on foot and soak in the relaxing vibes of nature.

Immaculate room with amazing downtown views, super comfortable bed, and smart room automation! Central location made exploring Austin easy. The staff truly embodied hospitality, making our stay at this Design Hotel unforgettable! 😊

The decor is absolutely stunning, but the service at the pool was disappointing—took ages to get served, and there was no one around to help. Chur for the beautiful atmosphere, though!

This was just a nice choice for a brief visit in Austin with good value for the price. The shower in our room had great water pressure, which was a pleasant surprise after a day out. If you want to use the pool, try to go early to avoid the crowds.

We had a great time staying at the Proper! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, especially at the lobby lounge in the evenings. We loved visiting the legendary South Congress club for some local music and were impressed by the fantastic food options nearby. Would definitely recommend this spot!

the premier king room had everything I needed, including a steamer for my clothes! the hotel's location was perfect, just a stroll away from beautiful river walking paths. the staff was genuinely attentive, making my stay truly enjoyable. plus, the fifth-floor pool with a small-batch tequila bar was a fantastic touch.
