The rooms were modern, fresh, and tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed that provided excellent support for my spine. I loved the unique touches, like having a ukulele and sketchbook in my room. Additionally, I appreciated the hotel's consideration for guests with chemical sensitivities, as they were willing to accommodate special requests to avoid using room sprays or chemicals.

The staff at Art Ovation Hotel, Autograph Collection went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The dining receptionist, Carey, was always courteous and helpful, while Silvana on the front desk greeted me with a beautiful smile every morning. Adam provided great suggestions for things to do and the van drivers, Michael Fruend and John diPalma, were especially helpful, entertaining, and thoughtful. The many arts programs, including art shows, musical performances, and craftsmen, made me feel immersed in the Sarasota arts scene. The location of the hotel was also perfect, with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The parking garage, although a bit of a hassle with the need to validate the parking pass, was convenient. The room itself was comfortable and the hotel overall was great.

One drawback was the need to use the room key to operate the elevator, which I found inconvenient. Additionally, having to go downstairs to get pool towels and constantly having to get the parking pass validated were minor inconveniences.
