Hotel breakfast could use more variety.

During our recent visit for leisure to explore USS Lexington, we stayed at Avid in Corpus. the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the rooms were spotless. the breakfast selection catered to all tastes, and the fitness center was top-notch. the ergonomic room design was a pleasant surprise, especially the thoughtful shelf in the shower for convenience.

Totally recommend this hotel.

I keep coming back for the cozy rooms and friendly staff. They helped me find great restaurants. This hotel has all I need - 24-hour reception, gym, flat-screen TV, dryer, AC. I'll be back for New Year!

The room was very ergonomic with a small shelf in the shower for shaving legs and cubbies for storing clothes. The staff was organized and friendly. Coffee/tea service was available 24 hrs and the breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel.

I absolutely loved my stay at Avid Hotels in Corpus Christi - Portland! The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, giving me a great night's sleep. The rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean and well-decorated. The guest laundry facilities were convenient and well-maintained. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options to suit every taste. The fitness center was impressive and perfect for staying active during my trip. The hotel's proximity to Corpus Christi and the USS Lexington made for a fun and enjoyable visit. There were also plenty of nearby restaurants, shopping options, and even a theater to explore.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with easy access to the area and minimal traffic. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing a warm welcome upon arrival. The rooms are impressively clean and well-maintained, with a modern and unique design. The comfortable beds ensure a good night's sleep, and the breakfast options are plentiful, including Jimmy Dean sandwiches, fresh fruits, and oatmeal. The availability of free coffee at any time of day is a convenient perk, and the on-site shop is useful for forgotten items.

There were some issues with the water temperature in the room, as it was only warm at best for most of the stay. there was a problem with ants in the bathroom, despite efforts to address the issue.

Conveniently located and modern hotel with friendly and informative staff. Clean and comfortable rooms with ergonomic design including hooks and cubbies. Continental breakfast available with cold and sparkling water dispenser, and coffee/tea service is available 24/7. Walk-in shower with small shelf for shaving made for a functional bathroom. a reasonably priced and enjoyable stay.

The location of the hotel was very convenient and easy to get around. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the property, with it being fairly new. We particularly enjoyed the walk-in shower, which was spacious and comfortable.

Although coffee was available in the lobby, we didn't want to get dressed just to go downstairs for it. We also had a small ant problem in the bathroom which could have been better controlled.
