This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. the location was perfect - situated in a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance from the French Quarter. It was ideal for exploring the city without the noise and hustle of the main tourist area. Secondly, the staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The level of service was impeccable. Thirdly, the rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, with thoughtful details like free-standing wooden wardrobes and a sleeper sofa. We even had access to a back patio, which provided a very private space to relax. Lastly, the breakfast was a highlight. The home-made pastries were simply delicious and the fact that it was included in the price made it even better. Plus, the decent coffee was a nice touch.

Everything was great, no improvement necessary.

Nothing everything was great.

The hosts were extremely welcoming and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. They offered storage for our bags before and after check-in and check-out. The room was cozy with a bathroom and a fridge. The inn had a beautiful balcony where we could enjoy our coffee or have a bottle of wine from the downstairs restaurant. The location was in an adorable neighborhood, making us feel like part of the community rather than tourists. It was a short walk to Frenchmen St. and the live music and art scene, and about a mile to the French Quarter.

We had a great stay at Balcony Guest House. the location was perfect, within walking distance to the French Quarter and other attractions. the property was cute and in a good location, and we enjoyed the attached bar/restaurant. Safe street parking was available right in front of the building, although it was a tight squeeze. it was a nice weekend staycation experience.

I recently stayed at a charming and quirky hotel in New Orleans for a few nights. The location was excellent, just a short 5-minute walk to Frenchman Street and another 5 minutes to Bourbon Street. The neighborhood felt safe, allowing us to comfortably walk around both during the day and at night. The hotel itself was lovely, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom complete with a big shower. The breakfast offered a wide selection of continental options. If you prefer a unique and cozy hotel experience over a fancy chain, I highly recommend this place!
