This hotel was situated ideally for exploring Newport Beach area. It was conveniently located near to the pier and it was possible to walk to the ocean and the boardwalk. The hotel was also on the beach of Newport Bay. The room was clean and comfortable, although the decor was slightly dated. Breakfast was simple yet tasty and the staffs were friendly and welcoming.

The hotel lacked in some amenities and facilities compared to others in the area.

My friends and I had a fantastic Girls Weekend Out at Bay Shores Peninsula. From the moment we checked in and were greeted by the friendly and funny Warren, we felt at home. The hotel has a quaint and cozy feel, with nice-sized rooms that offer plenty of storage space. The rooftop patio was a favorite spot to watch the sunset over the marina and ocean. The hotel provided beach toys, chairs, and towels, making our beach days hassle-free. The continental breakfast had a great variety of healthy options, and the fresh-baked cookies in the afternoon were a treat. We will definitely be returning to Bay Shores Peninsula when we are in the area again.

I recently had an absolutely fantastic experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly warm and hospitable, making me feel right at home. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the beautiful white sand beach and marina. The hotel had a great rooftop terrace with breathtaking views of the beach, perfect for watching the sunset. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a charming surf-themed decor. the attention to detail and the friendly service made me feel like a valued guest.

Parking can be a bit challenging, but the hotel provided a solution.

Great staff, very welcoming and friendly. the location was perfect, walking distance to the beach, shops, and good restaurants. the rooftop deck was a favorite spot for enjoying the complimentary breakfast, which was simple but delicious. the views from the second, floor room were beautiful, even without being on a higher floor. the homey feel of the hotel made the stay comfortable and enjoyable.

There were a few minor inconveniences. the water temperature in the shower fluctuated often, but eventually got hot.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail throughout. The location is unbeatable, with the beach right across the street and plenty of fantastic restaurants within walking distance. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The rooms with 2 queen beds are comfortable, with soft sheets and clean but tight bathrooms. Plus, the view from the rooms is simply stunning. Breakfast at the sundeck is a nice touch, with a gorgeous view of the bay.

The location of the hotel was excellent, with short walks to both the ocean and the bay. the ambience was relaxed and friendly, making it a perfect spot for families to gather. Additionally, the staff was friendly and accommodating, always greeting guests with a smile and going above and beyond to answer any questions or fulfill any requests.

One downside was that some guests decided to smoke right outside my door, leaving behind cigarette wrappers, ashes, and a dirty ashtray. It was disappointing to find this early in the morning.
