The hotel was big and had a homely feel despite being empty. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was yummy and the room had plenty of sunshine. it was an excellent experience and we plan on staying there every time we are in town.

Additionally, the location of the hotel was close to old Pasadena and within reasonable driving distance to everything of interest to us.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express on Colorado Boulevard for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect for exploring Universal Studios and the Griffith Observatory. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk. I loved the complimentary coffee, tea, and snacks available 24/7. The breakfast spread was amazing, with a wide variety of options including biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, pancakes. The pool was also a great addition for relaxation. I will definitely stay here again!

The General Manager, Stephane, was charming and cooperative. They even provided complimentary toothbrushes in case you forgot yours.

I had a fantastic stay at this venue! The location was perfect for me, as everything I wanted to see was easily accessible. The service was top-notch; from the welcoming staff to the excellent housekeepers, everyone made sure that I had an enjoyable experience. My room was well equipped with everything I needed, including ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee-making facilities. I also loved the fact that my room had a terrace with garden furniture where I could relax and unwind after a busy day of sightseeing.

There were some noise issues with the creaky floor above my room, which could be a bit bothersome. Additionally, there were a few incidents with housekeeping entering the room earlier than expected and a staff member eating behind the counter during check-out.

Despite being in a bustling area, it was tucked away from the sleeping area and noise was never an issue. The room was comfortable and clean, with a spacious bathroom and all necessary amenities. The breakfast each morning was enjoyable with many choices and fresh food. We appreciated the provided parking, and the hotel was close to many restaurants and shops.
