This place was beyond amazing!!! Very welcoming staff even when we checked in hours after our scheduled time! The owners of Bear Cove told us about an amazing mom and pop shop next door that makes AMAZING breakfast sandwiches. It’s also not in the middle of town but just a minute away from the hustle and bustle. The woodsy themed rooms were a refreshing switch from the usual cookie cutter rooms. The creativity and craftsmanship were impressive. Centrally located to explore nearby attractions and towns in the U.P. The owners have really put their heart into it. The towels and washcloths were soft and smelled great. Elaine was friendly and a perfect hostess. Snow was in the forecast and the hotel purposely didn't book any rooms the next day in case we were stuck. I was very impressed!

The room had everything I needed, with great amenities provided. Additionally, the location of the hotel in a quiet area was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay.

I recently stayed at Bear Cove Inn for my trip and I can't wait to go back. The rooms were amazing and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The owners were incredibly sweet and treated me like a guest in their own home. The location was perfect, just a short drive away from the busier areas. They even provided a shuttle to the nearby casino and there were plenty of attractions and restaurants nearby. The cabin was spacious, clean, and had a cozy rustic decor. I also appreciated the full-size appliances and cookware available for making meals. a wonderful experience!

The hotel in Saint Ignace had a lot to offer during my stay. the price was unbeatable, providing incredible value for money. Secondly, I loved the attention to detail in the rooms, with cute decor and unique themes that added charm to the experience. Additionally, the location of this hotel was perfect, situated in a quiet area away from heavy traffic but still close enough to explore the town.

I couldn't find anything to fault with this hotel. Everything was superb!

We got great value for our money at Bear Cove Inn! The room was amazing with a massage reclining chair, fridge, microwave, king size bed, and big TV. The location was convenient and the staff treated us like family.

The breakfast selection could use some improvement, maybe adding more variety.

I had a great time during my Christmas stay at this hotel. The theme room was absolutely adorable and my 8-year-old granddaughter loved it too. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The owners were very friendly and gave us lots of helpful local information. Additionally, I was happy to find that there were enough towels provided for our stay.

There were a few things that I didn't like about this hotel. I was informed that there was a shortage of toilet paper in town and that guests were limited to one roll.

Additionally, the hotel's location in the forest was not only picturesque but also conveniently close to the casino where we attended a concert. It was also a short, peaceful drive away from downtown St Ignace, striking a perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even when we arrived late. They recommended an amazing local breakfast spot nearby that we would have missed out on otherwise. The location was perfect, not right in the middle of town but still close enough to enjoy everything Saint Ignace has to offer. We appreciated the little touches like the snack box provided in the room and the donut sticks and coffee available in the lobby. The inn also had a mini shop and was conveniently close to the ferry to Mackinac Island. a delightful experience!

We had a great time here. This place was decorated very well, and the room had everything we needed, including snacks, tea, and coffee facilities. We loved that we were close enough to the downtown area, yet far enough to avoid the loud busyness. This hotel is also near the casino and the ferry to Mackinac Island. We loved being surrounded by the forest, which added to the serene atmosphere of the place. All staff members were super nice to us, and they accommodated our request for an extra blanket graciously.
