We stayed at a charming hotel in Plain for cross, country skiing, perfectly located at the trailhead, allowing my husband to ski for hours while I relaxed in our well, equipped, quiet room. the Bavarian vibe was delightful, with friendly staff making check, in easy. the cozy room featured a stocked kitchenette, comfortable bed, and beautiful woodwork throughout. Free ski trail passes added great value to our stay, making it exceptional. Cons: Can recommend this hotel.

One drawback was the thin walls, allowing some noise from neighboring units. However, the lodge staff assured they would address the issue promptly. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a tranquil mountain getaway experience.

There were no tables for luggage or closets to hang clothes. the DVD player was there but no movies to borrow.
