Breathtaking views, beautiful gardens, and excellent food. I was pleasantly surprised to find a complimentary half-bottle of wine in my cozy and quiet room. The staff knew my name and were accommodating to all my requests. I had a refreshing and fun getaway.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and super helpful. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a beautiful pool and immaculate grounds. The location on the top hills provided a spectacular view of the bay. We loved the complimentary breakfast and the courtesy shuttle that took us downtown.

I recently stayed at a secluded, hillside property with breathtaking views and a warm, welcoming staff. From the valet to the check-in, everyone was friendly and helpful. The spa went above and beyond by arranging a delicious lunch on short notice. Our room, a cozy bungalow with a fireplace and patio, was perfect for a weekend getaway. The amenities like the rain shower, heated floors, and waterfall shower were luxurious. The live piano and singer in the bar added a special touch.

Located in the hills of a Central Coast residential area, this hotel has amazing views of the coastline. The surrounding hills provide the perfect terrain for a fantastic hike, and the hotel offers complementary electric bikes to explore the town. The rooms are very spacious with elegant interior design, and some of them have fireplaces. The staff provides impeccable service, and the breakfast is delicious with a variety of options. The outside dining areas have astonishing views down the valley, making this hotel a perfect pre-Xmas break destination.

Some of the facilities, such as the pool, may not have the same elegance as other areas of the hotel according to some reviews.

Staying at this hotel fulfilled all of our luxurious needs. the exclusive amenities were outstanding, especially the outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace with stunning garden views. the Spa & wellness centre was fantastic, offering body wraps, massages, and manicures. the restaurant was exquisite, with special diet menus and in-room breakfast service.

We did experience a minor issue with the service. the waiting staff were polite, but needed to be more attentive and efficient.

We were blown away by the charm and welcoming atmosphere of Belmond El Encanto. The hotel's blend of Southern Californian style and European charm made us feel like we were in a cozy countryside retreat. The pet-friendly amenities exceeded our expectations, with a special menu, personalized welcome, and even "weewee" proof bedding. Definitely not your typical high-rise hotel! Staff like Macy went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. we highly recommend this enchanting hotel.

The hotel had spacious and beautifully furnished bungalows, providing a comfortable and luxurious stay. the staff was friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. the location, although a short drive from downtown, offered a peaceful and lovely neighborhood setting.

The gardens, although picturesque, were not as spacious or private as depicted in the promotional material. the food at the hotel was average and lacked excitement, not living up to the expectations set by the high accommodation costs.

My husband and I had a fantastic time at Belmond in Santa Barbara. The location was perfect, with breathtaking views and lovely architecture. We felt truly comfortable, especially in our luxurious room. The staff was friendly and addressed us by name, which was a nice touch. The food was consistently excellent, and we particularly enjoyed the sashimi. The pool and gardens were beautiful, and we had a blast exploring on the complimentary electric bikes. Belmond is a true gem.

Our romantic escape was dampened by a few annoyances. the noise level in the restaurant was too loud for a romantic dinner.

The room had a fruit platter and chocolate covered strawberries waiting for me, a delightful touch. The breakfasts were outstanding, with perfectly prepared eggs, crispy bacon, and delicious coffee. The concierge and front desk staff were incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions for wine tours and lunch spots. The overall experience surpassed that of other luxury hotels I've stayed at, including the Four Seasons. I can't wait to return for another wonderful weekend at this charming hotel.

While the valet service was efficient, I found the fee to be higher than what I've experienced at other five-star hotels. Additionally, I was disappointed to find no snacks in the room.
