The historic building had almost all original details intact, which gave it a unique and charming atmosphere. the staff was wonderful and friendly, providing great service throughout my stay.

The complimentary breakfast was quite basic, with limited options and no warm foods. the shared walls in the rooms were thin, and noise from neighboring rooms could be heard, which could disturb sleep.

We absolutely loved the gorgeous historic property! It had that old hotel feel, beautifully maintained with upgrades. The room was light, airy, and had a minimal art deco vibe. The view of the Berkeley hills from the windows was stunning, and we could even see the campanile from our bed. Everything worked perfectly, and the desk personnel were pleasant and efficient. The location was convenient with easy access, parking, and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. It was a truly special experience.

I recently stayed at the Berkeley City Club Hotel for a few nights. The pool is absolutely stunning, like a cathedral with its gothic windows and arched ceiling. The rooms were beautifully appointed and quiet. The building itself is like a museum, with its antique beauty and historical charm. The location is perfect, with UC Berkeley and many good restaurants within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. it was a unique and memorable experience.

The building is stunning and historic. The location is perfect for visiting UC Berkeley and is close to public transportation. The complimentary breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly and accommodating, both at breakfast and in the bar in the evenings. The rooms were basic but beautiful and the towel art was a nice touch.
