Located in a beautiful area, close to stunning mountains and surrounded by picturesque scenery. the reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, offering a glass of delicious Sauvignon Blanc upon arrival. the rooms were impressive, with spacious living areas, luxurious Italian linens, and a private patio with a cozy fireplace. Plus, the complimentary items provided, including two bottles of wine, soft drinks, and snacks.

The service during lunch was a letdown. As a business traveler, I was ignored by the staff due to a large group event taking place.

Stayed at a lavish hotel situated in a serene, isolated place with stunning views of the hills just off the road. The room felt luxurious, with a clean bathroom and comfortable beds. The hotel staff was welcoming, offering complimentary wine and snacks in the room, making the stay homely. The resort's facilities, including the infinity jacuzzi and pool, were relaxing and well-maintained. The location was ideal, just one mile away from local hiking trails at Garland Ranch, requiring transport, and close to cafes and wineries in the Carmel Valley area.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a hidden gem in the hills, where serenity and beauty embraced us. The hotel's lavish amenities, including the spa, treated us to a pampering experience. Despite the cold and rainy weather, we found solace in the steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and the cozy fireplace in our room. The complimentary stocked honor bar and luxurious bath products were delightful surprises. We had planned on exploring the area, but ultimately couldn't tear ourselves away from the luxurious comfort of our stay at Bernardus. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly luxurious and relaxing getaway.

I recently stayed at Bernardus for a weekend getaway and it was truly one of my favorite hotel experiences. The grounds, facilities, and guest rooms are stunning. The service was impeccable, with every staff member going above and beyond to make my stay five-star. Highlights included the warm welcome with wine, playing bocce on the beautiful grounds, and taking their convertible Mercedes AMG on a scenic drive. The spa, adults-only hot tub, and the view from my balcony were also unforgettable. The offer to ship my forgotten item for free was a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended!

Excellent service, included valet parking, and proximity to great wineries. Polite and accommodating staff, particularly at the front desk, spa, and car/valet services. Enjoyed the deep tissue massage and well-maintained grounds. Beautiful gardens and meticulous landscaping. Tranquil rooms with comfortable linens and nice interior decoration.

The check-in was incredible, with a complimentary glass of wine. the rooms were impeccably designed, with a gorgeous garden view and a luxurious soaker tub. the hotel provided complimentary snacks and drinks in the room, which was a nice touch. the pool and adult hot tub were quiet and tranquil, perfect for relaxation. the spacious facilities and gardens made it feel like a retreat. the staff provided flawless service from beginning to end.

There was a lack of chairs at the pool, which resulted in people waiting for lounge chairs. There was construction going on all weekend starting at 8 am, which made it impossible to sleep in.

The room was amazing, with a gas fireplace that came in handy during the chilly evenings. the hotel had beautiful gardens and the surrounding nature was breathtaking. the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay.

We had an unforgettable luxurious weekend at this hotel. the service was extraordinary, the spa and wellness centre provided exclusive amenities, including an outdoor pool, jacuzzi and steam room. the facial treatment together with the massage left us feeling rejuvenated. We enjoyed the live entertainment and beauty treatments as well as the picnic area with special diet menus.

Although the hotel met our expectations, there was only one minor downside that we experienced. the TV in the leisure room was not working properly, but considering all the wonderful amenities available, it did not affect our overall experience.

The breakfasts were fantastic and the staff was incredibly friendly. They even offered complementary snacks and toiletries in the room. the location was also convenient as it was close to the coast and took no more than 20 minutes to get to Carmel.

The surroundings of the hotel seemed to be neglected, and the parking lot had a strong sewer smell that was quite unpleasant. the room was nice, but overpriced for what it was.

We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary upgrade upon arrival. The in-room fireplace and balcony overlooking the pool made for a cozy and romantic stay. The restaurant served excellent food and the spa was a great addition. Overall I highly recommend this spot for a relaxing weekend away.
