We had an amazing stay at Bernardus Lodge & Spa! The grounds are gorgeous, featuring beautiful gardens and a lovely vegetable garden. Our room, a Luxury Santa Lucia King, was spacious with a cozy fireplace and tasteful decor. We especially loved the delicious breakfast and dinner at the lodge's restaurant. The complimentary snacks, like a bottle of Provence rosé and mini fridge drinks, were a delightful touch. The spa was beautiful, and we enjoyed playing bocce and croquet. Overall, it was a relaxing getaway filled with great amenities and comfort.

The outdoor patio furniture could use more comfortable cushions.

The gardens at Bernardus Lodge are absolutely stunning, creating a serene landscape for relaxation. I adored the complimentary snacks, including refreshing beverages that truly enhanced my stay. The outdoor hot tub was such a cozy spot under the stars, making it a perfect romantic evening!

Bernardus Lodge & Spa was a culinary paradise! From the delightful tasting menu dinner that felt like gourmet magic to the heavenly breakfast, every bite was worth savoring. The room's comfy bed and lovely fireplace added to the charm! Indigenous to the grounds, the bocce and croquet were fun little detours.

Cozy rooms and excellent spa service.

During my stay, the noise level was unbearable. The presence of younger children running around throughout the day made relaxation near impossible. I also noticed that the outdoor patio furniture was extremely uncomfortable, which was disappointing when I was hoping to enjoy some fresh air. Furthermore, the lack of accessible streaming services in the room was a huge letdown, as my partner and I were unable to enjoy our favorite shows at night.

Superb location surrounded by vineyards with a relaxing atmosphere and access to sauna and steam room. The staff was friendly and helpful and I loved the thoughtful complimentary snacks with the Nespresso machine in the room.

I enjoyed a lovely weekend with excellent spa services that included a unique massage using foot pressure. The grounds had stunning gardens and lavender beds, offering a peaceful escape. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches like the snacks and beverages included in the room. Exploring the surrounding wineries and enjoying the dining experience added to my stay. This was a wonderful getaway for my friends and me. My background as a single art historian made this place's ambiance particularly appealing.
