We loved the location - right across from the Dinosaur BBQ and within short walking distance from many other restaurants and coffee shops, a Rite Aid, and a Dunkin Donuts. The hotel is also conveniently close to the downtown area, allowing for easy access to shops and restaurants. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding, both inside and outside. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Michael at the front desk who efficiently signed us up for the rewards program. a great stay!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The rooms were recently renovated and had a tasteful decor. The location was perfect, right downtown and very near the center of Troy. The breakfast spread was impressive, with plenty of delicious options to choose from.

I was disappointed with the lack of a proper breakfast. the hotel advertised a free breakfast, but it only consisted of low-quality snacks, yogurt, and cheap coffee.

My recent stay at Best Western Plus Franklin Square Inn was excellent. The location was perfect, with beautiful river views from the room. There were plenty of bars, restaurants, and coffee shops within a short walk. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with a lovely "great room" and a wonderful 24/7 breakfast room. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and efficient. I had a small issue with my room, but they quickly resolved it and even upgraded me without any extra charge. I highly recommend this hotel.

Parking was limited on site and had to be done across the street. the beds were not very comfortable.

The value for money was excellent, and the room was comfortable and clean with a spacious walk-in shower. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, leading to a great night's sleep. The location is excellent, with a small parking lot and a nearby parking garage. The view of the Hudson River outside is beautiful. a pleasant stay over a decade ago and the maintenance has kept it in good condition.

My wife and I recently stayed at a great hotel in Troy for 4 nights while visiting our daughter at RPI. The Best Western Plus Franklin Square Inn was clean, comfortable, and offered many welcome amenities. The staff was incredibly helpful, courteous, and professional. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and stores within walking distance. The bed and pillows were super comfortable, and we slept better than ever. The free parking garage next door was a bonus for our visits to RPI. a wonderful experience.

This hotel is a great value for money, with rooms recently renovated in a tasteful decor, equipped with many welcome amenities and offering 2 beds. The location near Troy center, just off the highway and right downtown, is perfect for exploring the area. Breakfast offers a nice spread of breakfast-food options with many choices.

The hotel was located conveniently close to the freeway and downtown area on the river, with plenty of dining options within walking distance. The fitness room and lobby were nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was decent, though the cutlery was plastic.

The rooms themselves were quite small and overpriced for the quality.

As longer term business travelers, we really appreciated the whole day complementary tea/coffee and small snacks. It made us feel right at home.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a great coffee machine available 24/7. The staff was beyond helpful, courteous, and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, right off of Interstate 787 and close to shops, restaurants, and the college. Transportation in this area was convenient, and I found plenty of options within walking distance.

Great location and elegant rooms. I had an amazing time getting ready for my wedding in the Plaza Suite, with its luxurious amenities, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff was so accommodating and made us feel special. I highly recommend this hotel!
