Our family visited Aquatica SeaWorld® Waterpark in San Diego, just a mile away from the hotel. The educational and unexpected experiences at the waterpark were enriching for the kids, and the reserved seating provided a stress-free day. We also enjoyed the comfortable accommodations and delicious breakfast at the hotel.

My children wanted a more extensive kids' play area at the hotel.

The Best Western Chula Vista/Otay Valley Hotel's location was excellent, as it was close to Aquatica: SeaWorld's Waterpark San Diego and the Catholic Cathedral "Catedral Metropolitana de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe." The complimentary deluxe Express Start Breakfast was a great perk, including a variety of hot items. However, our stay was marred by the room smelling like smoke and moisture, which made it uncomfortable.

The hotel did not allow early check-ins, which was a minor inconvenience.

The breakfast spread was exceptional - it was as if I stumbled into a treasure trove of morning delights. The variety of options left me feeling like a kid in a candy store, making it the perfect start to my day.

The bed was comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. The hotel had a convenient location, close to major attractions and transportation options. Additionally, the staff were friendly and welcoming, making the stay enjoyable.

There were a few negative aspects to my experience. The cleanliness of the room was not up to par, with noticeable stains and a strange odor.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, as it was right in front of the drop-off area for the Sleep Train Amphitheater, making it incredibly convenient for attending outdoor concerts. Additionally, it was close to an outlet mall, so we were able to do some shopping during our stay. The room amenities were excellent, with ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a refrigerator and microwave for our convenience. The staff provided top-notch service, offering room service, dry cleaning, and excellent housekeeping. The hotel also had laundry facilities, which was a huge plus for us. We were thoroughly impressed with the breakfast options, and the dining bar/lounge area was a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. we highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay.

I absolutely adored the elegant and cozy decor of the hotel lobby and common areas. The warm color scheme and plush seating provided a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for older guests. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility for senior people was remarkable, with clear signage, easily navigable hallways, and conveniently located handrails, making it easy for me to move around with ease.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is more assistance from the children of the staff in helping carry luggage to the rooms.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the attention to detail was impressive, from the upgraded amenities in the rooms to the comfortable mattresses that ensured a great night's sleep. Secondly, the staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. Lastly, the breakfast served was a pleasant surprise, with a variety of options including sausage and delicious pre made eggs. The prices were reasonable, making it great value for money.

There was nothing to be improved, this hotel was fantastic.

I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room exceeded my expectations; it was spacious and impeccably clean. The location was convenient, even though it was close to the highway, and the staff treated me with exceptional kindness and professionalism.

The morning meal could have been improved with a better selection of hot food options.

We loved the clean and comfortable room, with its cozy bed and spacious layout. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location was ideal, just outside of San Diego and a short drive to the beach. We were also pleased to find that the hotel was close to the Sesame Street park and the Sleep Train Amphitheater for outdoor concerts.

I recently stayed at Best Western Chula Vista/Otay Valley for a weekend event and it was a great experience. The staff, from the friendly maids to the helpful breakfast facilitator and night desk manager, were all fantastic. The hotel itself is beautiful and despite being located near the freeway, the room was surprisingly quiet. The powerful air conditioning was a welcome feature, ensuring a comfortable stay. The hotel provided all the amenities we needed - fridge, microwave, wifi, parking, and a delicious inclusive breakfast with plenty of variety. Additionally, the mix of firm and soft pillows on the bed was a nice touch.

I couldn't believe how comfortable the beds were at Best Western Chula Vista/Otay Valley! We had a restful night's sleep without any tossing and turning. The room was sparkling clean, and the carpet felt so soft. The breakfast was simply delicious! They had the most amazing Belgium waffles, and the bagels were incredibly soft. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous, making our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel!

So many things to see and do in downtown San Diego, it's like a mini city! Loved getting up close with the animals at Aquatica, a waterpark with a beach resort vibe. Such a thrilling experience!

The border between San Diego and Chula Vista was just way too busy for my taste. #toomanypeople
