The value for the money was great, we got a nice-sized, clean room with fantastic views. The location was perfect, right by the lake and within walking distance to restaurants and attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeping supervisor and the young lady at check-in and check-out.

The hotel staff was exceptionally helpful, providing weather information, extra towels, and suggestions for activities. The quiet location and beautiful lake view from our suite added to the relaxation. We also appreciated the prompt response when we forgot an item in our room.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, with easy access to downtown shopping, restaurants, and even attractions like Madeline Island and the Porcupine Mountains. I loved how the hotel blended the old with the new, with beautiful antique furniture in the public areas. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was really good, with plenty of options that never ran out. Plus, I appreciated the attention to detail, like the great graphics painted on many of the buildings nearby.

The shoreline was contaminated, but the view was still beautiful. The room was quite spacious with all the necessary amenities. The service was great and the breakfast was warm and delicious. The Chequamegon Grill restaurant on site served exquisite food with a great ambiance.

The elevator was very noisy and disturbed our sleep during the night.
