Finding a scenic place to stay with the family is a challenge in any city, but we lucked out staying close to attractions that interested us the most. The calming rush of the waterfall next to the house was a welcome relief from walking around all day. In the back, the Japanese garden was full of life with birds and squirrels that we loved watching. The family-friendly museums next door were perfect for our little ones. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean with comfortable beds and great views. The breakfast was excellent and the service was great. The only downside is the lack of an elevator for those who cannot climb stairs easily.

The value for money at this hotel is fantastic. From the affordable prices to the attention to detail, you really get your money's worth. The rooms are beautifully furnished with vintage furniture, and they are immaculately cleaned. The staff, including Jim, Melanie, Elaine, and Leigh. You can tell that they genuinely care about the guests and their needs. The location of this hotel is perfect, right in the heart of the historic area. You can easily walk to the battlefields, shops, and restaurants, and it's just a short drive to other attractions. And if you're a light sleeper, requesting a room in the rear of the house ensures a peaceful night's sleep.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming inn and I must say it exceeded my expectations. The location is absolutely fantastic, as it is within easy walking distance to all the major historic sites in the area. This made exploring Gettysburg a breeze! The hotel itself has a lovely historic charm, with rooms that truly transport you back to the Civil War era. I stayed in one of the rooms with a private balcony and it was so delightful to relax there and soak in the ambiance. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. And let's not forget about the breakfast! It was served on a beautiful terrace, complete with delicious gourmet options and even dessert! this hotel offers great value for money and provides a truly memorable experience.

We had a wonderful visit at a beautiful historic inn that offered a lot for our money. The owners, Tessa and Brian, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The inn, an old historic house, was in beautiful condition and exceptionally clean. The breakfasts were delicious and gourmet. Despite some stairs leading to the rooms, the location was awesome. we highly recommend this inn for a great stay.

The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the town and all of the sites, and is within walking distance of many attractions. The rooms are decorated with period antiques which adds to the feel of old times. The breakfast served on the terrace is outstanding and includes dessert.

The Brickhouse Inn was charming, with beautiful antique decor and a lovely garden patio where the delicious homemade breakfast is served. The location was perfect for exploring historic Gettysburg, with many restaurants and sights within walking distance. Despite some uneven brick pathways, it was a delightful stay overall. I highly recommend it! I would definitely recommend this charming inn for a special visit.

We had a great night's sleep as the room was quiet despite being close to the street. the breakfasts were absolutely amazing, with a wide variety of options to cater to different dietary needs. the hospitality of the innkeepers and staff was outstanding, they made us feel so welcome and treated us like family. the location of the inn was perfect, providing easy access to the local attractions and sights.

Occasionally, there were noisy motorcycles passing by, but that's to be expected in any area like this.
