The mountain views from the room were stunning, providing a great backdrop for relaxing after a long day. Plus, the cozy ambiance in the lobby with its fireplace made it a nice spot to unwind after hitting the slopes.

The facilities seemed to be outdated, with rooms smelling of mildew that prompted me to keep the door open all night. Also, a large group of families made things pretty noisy at times, reminiscent of a loud freshman dorm party, which didn't help when I just wanted some peace and quiet. Additionally, several advertised amenities like the bar were closed, making the options for relaxation limited, and I encountered some issues with the check-in process and cleaning fees that felt a bit unreasonable.

We just stayed at the Sun Lodge for the second time and loved it! The lodge is super close to everything you want to enjoy, like the slopes. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially Rob—he went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The room was clean with great views, and we loved the cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The added bonus was the free breakfast with DIY waffles, perfect for fueling up before hitting the slopes!

Rob at reception was super helpful, like a real chommie! The vibe's chill, and the smooth check-in was sharp-sharp. Our king room with the koppie view was a lekker surprise – comfy as a flippen luxury suite!

Unfortunately, my stay was quite disappointing. The property felt very dated and lacked many of the advertised amenities, like the bar and kids' area. Additionally, I experienced a frustrating check-in process where I was overcharged and not refunded correctly for services that weren't provided. The noise from other guests was unbearable at night, which made it hard to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Location is just perfect—cedar-lined slopes right at your doorstep! The friendly staff made us feel like old mates—super helpful. The brekkie was a lekker way to kick-start the day with DIY waffles, and the balcony views? Man, that sunset was something else!

We visited the Lincoln Family Home and the Vermont History Museum, both were amazing. The staff was super friendly and the place was cozy. Breakfast was solid, with DIY waffles and hard-boiled eggs. The lodge had pool tables and games. Perfect for downtime and fun!

One downside was that the bar wasn't open during the week, which was a bummer since we wanted to unwind after our adventures.
