The lodge's location is stunning with beautiful views of the surrounding hills. It's close to several wineries and adjacent to a golf course. However, the place is down at the heels. The room looks outdated, with furniture and decorations reminiscent of the 1980s. The bathroom is tiny and in need of some renovation. The service was okay, not particularly friendly or welcoming, but nothing to complain about either. The breakfast was continental and rather limited with only raw food options. The pool and hot tub are small but nice additions.

We had a wonderful stay here in a comfortable room with all the amenities we needed, including a comfy bed and flat-screen TV. The staff was incredibly helpful, providing us with information on local attractions and restaurants, as well as directions to get there. The location was beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and located in the valley within easy access to Monterey or Carmel by the sea. We also enjoyed the lovely garden furniture, picnic areas, and outdoor swimming pool found here.

We had a great time at the Carmel Valley Lodge. Our room was clean and spacious, and the location was perfect for visiting the nearby wineries. We loved the peace and quiet of the lodge and enjoyed spending time by the pool. we recommend this hotel.

Stayed over Thanksgiving weekend and had a great time! the breakfast was very tasty and included fresh fruit and waffles. We loved the pool and sauna, a great way to relax with family. the hotel was located close to a main road, making it easy to get to other places. the room was very comfortable and cozy, and had a large balcony with beautiful views of the surrounding area.

The bathroom was a bit small, and the shower felt cramped. there was no coffee maker in the room, which we missed having in the morning.
