The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the town square and university. The facility was new, clean, and comfortable. The hotel bar and appetizers were excellent.

Beautifully Appointed Room and Bathroom

During my recent stay at Chancellor's House, I was impressed by the beautifully appointed room and bathroom. The bed was dressed with fine linen and there were plenty of pillows, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The highlight was the bathroom, which featured a glass door on the shower cubicle, a lovely bath with all the trimmings, and a separate toilet. The white towels provided added a touch of luxury. the room and bathroom were clean, well-maintained, and exceeded my expectations.

The Oliver, Oxford was a great choice for my Christmas stay. the rooms were beautifully appointed, with fine linens and plenty of pillows. the highlight was the spacious bathroom, complete with a glass shower cubicle, a lovely bath, and plenty of fluffy white towels. the location of the hotel was also perfect, right in the heart of the city. It was just a short walk to all the key attractions and Christmas markets, making it easy to explore and soak up the festive atmosphere. Plus, the staff was friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable.

There were a couple of aspects that were not up to par. the noise from outside could be quite disruptive, especially during the late nights when Christmas celebrations were in full swing.

We had a fantastic stay at a recently renovated hotel in the heart of Oxford. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful bathroom featuring a clawfoot tub and separate shower. The Faulkner Den with its cozy fireplace was the perfect place to relax. The front desk staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even going as far as to track down items we left behind. The complimentary van service to the nearby country club with a gym and pool was a great bonus. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Oxford.

I had the best stay at this fabulous hotel! The staff was amazing, always willing to help out. The location couldn't be better, with the main square just a short walk away. I loved the cozy little bar where I could relax and watch sports on TV. The magnolia suite had a stunning view and the bathrooms were fantastic, with a huge shower and separate toilet. The tree in the lobby was really pretty, and we appreciated the hot chocolate in the lobby. the hotel is right by the main square, which made it easy to get around. Plus, the bed was cozy and comfortable!

The hotel seemed to not be properly prepared for Xmas. There were no decorations anywhere except for the lobby, and the room felt empty and cold because of it.

We loved the spacious bathroom with the big shower and separate toilet. Although the restaurant was closed on Sunday, we walked to the square and enjoyed the local food scene. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
