Fantastic Location and Comfort

Commander Hotel & Suites boasts an unbeatable location right on the boardwalk, just steps from the beach. The spacious kitchenette and comfortable furniture made our stay with a young child seamless. The friendly staff enhanced our experience, ensuring we felt welcomed and cared for during our visit.

Our experience was marred by the lack of cleanliness. The floors were filthy, covered in sand, and there were long hairs in the sheets. It was disappointing given the high cost—definitely not what we expected for a family-friendly hotel.

Location is on point; you can practically trip to the beach! The outdoor pool is a blast and not overcrowded, which is a rare find.

The room was spacious with a great ocean view. It had plenty of counter space and a big microfridge. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for restful nights. the cleanliness left something to be desired; there was sand on the floor and hair in the shower upon arrival. The bathroom was cramped, and luggage storage was tricky due to limited closet space. While free coffee was a nice touch, the furniture showed signs of wear—tables had loose legs. The balcony offered a lovely view, but noise from the pool area could be heard. A few more towels would have been appreciated.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the boardwalk! I loved waking up to beautiful sunrises from my oceanfront balcony. The friendly staff made my stay even better, and the pool area was a blast!

I had access to all amenities, including awesome beach chairs and indoor/outdoor pools. The Fractured Prune's donuts were my daily Instagram treat. My check-in was streamlined, but I missed the daily towel refreshment.

Great location right on the boardwalk! Rooms were really nice and super clean. Queen beds were comfy, plus the pull-out couch was a win. Loved the kitchenette for the little one. Mr Brooks at the front desk was super friendly. Easy access to pizza, ice cream, and donuts. Plus, nice outdoor space with loungers.

From our oceanfront room on the top floor, we enjoyed stunning views right from our balcony, and the convenience of being just steps away from the beach and boardwalk made every stroll a joy, especially with plenty of delicious dining options like Grotto Pizza and Starbucks just a short walk away; we also appreciated the complimentary beach chairs and bike rentals that allowed us to explore the beautiful surroundings with ease. The pools looked nice and clean, but the room could have been a bit bigger to make our stay even more comfortable.

We loved that the room had a kitchenette and the amazing ocean view from our patio was the cherry on top! The indoor swimming pool was a great spot to unwind after a day at the beach, a really nice touch, and the accessibility to the beach with the provided beach chairs and umbrellas was superb. The only downside was that the room was a bit cramped, but nothing major, just made it a tad cozy for us. 🌊

My weekend at Commander Hotel & Suites in Ocean City was fantastic! The oceanfront room was perfect for watching the car show. The staff, especially Alia and Dominique, were so welcoming. Free bikes and beach chairs were delightful bonuses. Will definitely be back!
