Awesome views and friendly vibes!

Spent 2 nights here and the corner room was amazing! Big windows gave us a killer view of the city, and I loved listenin' to all the street noise at night. The Bistro has some quick bites that hit the spot too. Just wish the elevators were a bit faster, but didn't ruin our stay at all.

Clean and spacious rooms.

My experience at the Courtyard Oakland Downtown was very disappointing. First, we were given the wrong room, and despite addressing this with the staff, it took time to rectify, which added unnecessary stress to our stay. The Bistro was a complete disaster. we waited an excruciating 90 minutes only to find they had run out of our order without notifying us. Breakfast the next morning was equally frustrating as there was no staff available, forcing us to venture out in the cold and navigate a tense atmosphere under a bridge with homeless individuals. Overall, the service needs significant improvement, especially in dining.

Convenient location, friendly staff, and a well-maintained fitness center made my stay enjoyable, and I appreciated that the BART station was just a short walk away.

We had a fantastic stay at the Courtyard Oakland Downtown! The location was perfect, only a short walk from Chinatown and the BART station, which made it easy to explore the area. Our room was spacious, clean, and had really comfortable beds, making it a great place to unwind after a busy day. We also loved the modern bathroom products, which added a nice touch to our stay. The views from our room were lovely as well, which we enjoyed each morning.

Parking was a bit pricey at $45 a day.

Unexpected gems in downtown Oakland

The hotel's location is fantastic! Just a short walk from the BART station and Chinatown, making it easy to explore. The room was spacious, and the valet service was friendly and efficient.

However, the parking fees were a bit steep at $45 per day. Additionally, there were times when the lobby felt uninviting as we waited for assistance. Elevators could be quicker too.
