A unique and historic hotel with charming dog mascots. The customer service was excellent even when they made a mistake with my reservation. The associated restaurant had delicious food. The room was spacious and comfortable. I recommend this Tribute Portfolio hotel.

I couldn't be happier with the value for my money at this unique hotel. The room was absolutely stunning, with upscale furnishings and a spacious bathroom. The location in downtown was perfect, with antique shops and outdoor eateries just steps away. The staff was friendly and upbeat, making my stay a pleasure.

We had a cozy, luxurious stay at the hotel. The atmosphere was elegant yet fun, as it is a restored old shoe factory turned boutique hotel. The hotel facilities were exceptional and the cleanliness was top-notch. The location was in a beautiful area, with access to hiking trails and excellent restaurants nearby. Additionally, the staff was friendly and accommodating.

The hotel had a unique and classy vibe that I really enjoyed. the attention to detail was impressive, from the shoe-shine boxed continental breakfast to the turn down service and comfy bathrobes. the staff was friendly and always ready to answer any questions and make our stay enjoyable. the location of the hotel was also great, with easy access to the James River and nearby restaurants and attractions.

Our stay was cut short and we couldn't stay longer. It was such a shame because we were really enjoying our time at the hotel and in the city.

What a gem! The hotel's location in a historic area downtown is perfect, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms have a unique atmosphere with exposed beams and brickwork, and the king bed was wonderfully comfortable. The bathroom was also impressive, with a large tub. Breakfast was included which made our stay even better!
