Our stay at Devereaux Shields House was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. The check-in process was smooth, and we were given all the details about the house and our room. The location was fantastic, with easy parking nearby. The breakfast each morning was amazing, with delicious food prepared by a talented cook. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with soft sheets and plush towels. We enjoyed the wine and cheese reception, as well as the opportunity to meet other guests. The house itself was beautiful and charming, and we especially loved the surprise viewing of the owner's hobby. we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this B&B.

We were a bit disappointed to discover that our room was in a smaller house down the block, rather than the large house shown in the pictures. The room itself was small, and the beds were not very comfortable.

I recently stayed in a charming B&B located in a lovely historic neighborhood. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the center of town where several good restaurants are to be found. The room I stayed in was cozy and beautifully decorated with antique furniture, giving it a nostalgic feel. The breakfast served in the charming dining room was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating, providing helpful recommendations for exploring the area. it was a delightful experience that truly made me feel like I had stepped back in time.

The bathroom in the room was a bit small and had poor lighting.

We spent an amazing Christmas at this charming bed and breakfast. the complimentary coffee and snacks were a nice touch. the location was perfect, tucked away on a quiet street but still close enough to easily walk to shops and restaurants.

Our room's air conditioning struggled to keep up with the warm Christmas weather, making it a bit uncomfortable at times. the bathroom was a bit small and could use some updating.

The proprietors are helpful and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The tasty breakfast, along with the added perk of free drinks, adds to the overall enjoyment. The location is perfect, within walking distance of the city center, antebellums, and restaurants.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location was great, situated within walking distance of many beautiful older homes. The service was exceptional, from the welcome drink to the housekeeping, everything was perfect. Our room was well appointed with ironing facilities, heating, and air conditioning making for a very comfortable stay. The terrace and garden area were lovely to relax in after a long day of exploring, and the free toiletries added an extra touch of luxury. Breakfast was amazing every day, and the picnic area provided a great spot to enjoy it while taking in the beautiful surroundings. The staff were extremely accommodating, and the leisure facilities, including the spa & wellness center and various outdoor activities, were an added bonus.

Highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for comfortable accommodations and exceptional service.
