I recently stayed at a luxurious 4-star hotel in downtown. The location is perfect, as it's right in the center and makes it easy to explore the city. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, which was a huge plus for me. The room itself was fabulous, with beautiful decor and all the amenities I needed. The staff was also very nice and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. From the moment I called to confirm my reservation, I was treated with genuine kindness and respect. I've traveled a lot, but I have never experienced such exceptional customer service.

There were some negative aspects to my experience at this hotel. the room had hard surface flooring, which I personally found to be a downside.

We had a fantastic stay at this Marriott hotel in Durham! The staff, especially Robert and Alice, were kind and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They called the US location for us, upgraded our room, and even gave us tickets to the Lumiere event. The area was great, and the staff made us feel welcome.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel! The location was perfect for us as it was right beside the theater and in the heart of downtown. The staff were very friendly and helpful, from the porter who took our luggage upon arrival to the front desk gentleman who gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants. The facilities were fantastic with a fitness center, restaurant, and bar/lounge area. Plus, the continental breakfast was a great way to start the day.

The view from the room was great, the beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean and spacious. Valet parking was also convenient.

The free Wi-Fi and complimentary coffee were a nice touch during my stay at this hotel. the location was great as it was close to some delicious restaurants and local attractions. Another perk was the free parking, which was a hassle-free way to store my rental car while exploring the area.

The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. the service at the front desk was also lacking, with staff members seeming disinterested and not willing to go out of their way to assist guests.
