Recently renovated rooms, new furnishings. Helpful staff accommodated our request for a top floor room with a view. No noise issues, only city sounds. Lovely aesthetics, very clean. No breakfast provided. Quaint room in old section, enjoyed old-style phone. Nearby coffee shop had great food and service. Impressive exercise facility. Beautiful Nutcracker Themed Holiday decorations. Local artwork displayed throughout.

My room at El Capitan Hotel, part of JDV by Hyatt, was recently remodeled and felt brand new. The front desk staff were caring and accommodating, ensuring I got a room with a view. The hotel had a peaceful atmosphere, with no inter-room noise, and the city sounds below were soothing. The old-style phone in the room added a charming touch. The coffee shop next door had delicious food and great service. The holiday decorations and local artwork throughout the hotel created a festive and unique ambiance. The valet service was convenient, although self-parking was an option. Breakfast at the on-site restaurant was convenient and the food was tasty. The common areas and rooms were beautifully decorated.

The bathroom could use a shelf for toiletries, and the lighting in the room was not very functional. The shower design resulted in water spraying on the floor, and in one room, I noticed black mold in the shower.

The hotel is beautifully furnished and well-priced, with all the amenities we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We loved staying at this place! The location was fantastic next to the railway, making it easy to explore the area. The service was top-notch with valet parking and friendly staff always willing to help. The room amenities were outstanding with ironing facilities, tea, and coffee, along with free Wi-Fi. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-decorated with a flat-screen tv and curtains to ensure a great night's sleep. We couldn't have asked for more!

We had a great breakfast at the restaurant on-site. Although there was a bit of confusion initially regarding billing when breakfast was included in the hotel rate, it was efficiently resolved in the end.

The newly remodeled room was spotless. The decor was modern, and the bed was very comfortable. One of the best aspects of the hotel was its location, which was central and convenient. I also enjoyed the exceptional gym facilities, which were well-equipped, air-conditioned, and open throughout the day.

The coffee making equipment was unusual and could have used clearer instructions. there was an issue with the billing;
