It was a great value for the price, and we would highly recommend it to any traveler. the motel had a comfortable family room that easily slept 5 people. Despite being an older property, they have made efforts to make improvements. the room was clean and had a fresh scent. I personally appreciated the absence of carpeting. They even provided a Keurig in the room, which was a nice touch. the bathroom had ample toiletries, not just small bottles for one-time use. it was an enjoyable stay, and we were grateful for the helpful staff.

We had a great stay at El Castell Motel! We stayed for a few nights and found the room to be clean and comfortable. The motel is conveniently located within walking distance to a CVS and a nice restaurant. It's also close to the aquarium and downtown Carmel. The pool looked clean and inviting, even though we didn't have a chance to use it. a pleasant experience!

I recently stayed at El Castell Motel for a music festival at the Monterey County Fairgrounds. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff was sweet and helpful. They even had a private room by the pool for breakfast overflow, which was a nice touch. The hotel also had convenient amenities like a vending machine, ice machine, and washer and dryer. The location was perfect, just a 10-minute drive from the aquarium. it was a great stay.
