We had a wonderful stay at Firehouse Inn for a weekend getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and our Fire Chief's suite was spacious and beautifully furnished. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we loved the unique touch of English muffins and peanut butter in the room. Despite a busy weekend, the restaurant below went out of their way to accommodate us for dinner. The building itself was interesting and the room was spotlessly clean and well-decorated. The bathroom was large with luxurious towels and the kitchenette was convenient. We also enjoyed the cool firefighter-themed decor throughout the hotel.

It was all superb.

Located right in the middle of the town, staying in a former fire station is a unique experience. The upstairs sitting area is filled with interesting décor, like suits of armor and old fire equipment. Downstairs in the restaurant, the food is tasty and offers good value. The staff is generally helpful and friendly, giving an added homely feel to the place.

The rooms are not as well-appointed as one might expect, lacking basic amenities like a fridge.

We were pleasantly surprised by this venue. When we entered through the restaurant, we were a little skeptical, but the comfortable bed, fantastic bathroom, and kitchenette made up for it. This hotel has two floors: suites on the second, and a restaurant on the first, with a cozy bar/lounge in the basement. The fact that this hotel used to be a fire station adds an extra layer to our stay.

The windows are covered with plexiglass, preventing the ability to open them and let in fresh air.

As women traveling alone, we felt safe and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and helpful.

My Thanksgiving stay was just perfect. the hospitality was excellent with friendly staff. the room I stayed in accommodated my family very well, the space was ample and the facilities were well-maintained. the location of the hotel was outstanding, close to vital amenities and great scenic areas. We were able to conveniently access restaurants and parks. the hotel offered complementary drinks and snacks which was a bonus.

The rooms were lacking closet space. There were a limited amount of hooks to hang our clothing.
