i stayed at Friday Harbor last week, and this place just rocked my expectations during my trip to see the northern lights. the staff offered incredible service, and the views from my king room with a sea view were stunning. every moment felt special, especially with the delicious food and local wine options around.

parking could get a bit tricky in the evenings.

The room had a stellar harbor view from the King Room, and I enjoyed the cozy fireplace setting, especially after a soggy day. The amenities like the sleep kit with an eye mask and lavender oil added a nice touch to the comfort level.

Parking can get tight during peak times, which was a bit of a hassle when I returned in the evening. Also, the noise from the bar area occasionally interrupted the tranquil vibe, and the overall price felt a tad high given these minor inconveniences.

Utterly satisfied

We have a fantastic experience during our stay! The location is ideal, just a short walk from shops and cafes. The picturesque views from our room were breathtaking. The staff offered exceptional service, making us feel warmly welcome as a family, and the amenities like the garden terrace gave us the perfect spot to unwind while the kids played.

Parking can get a bit tricky in the evenings, so plan ahead.

Had a garden view room that opened right onto the deck off the restaurant. Enjoyed evenings sipping wine while watching boats and seaplanes come and go—simply unforgettable! ! Also, they surprised us by moving our luggage while we were out for the day, making sure we were comfortable, which really stood out!

It wasn’t cheap, but still acceptable for the experience we got.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful , making us feel right at home. The food in the restaurant was fantastic, with excellent homemade granola for breakfast. Location is perfect for walking to shops and the ferry.

Parking could get tight in the evenings, especially during peak times. A bit more signage for overnight spots would help.
