We loved the authentic feel of the lodge, with beautiful antique furniture and a historical look. The owner, Rebecca, was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The lodge had its own bathrooms, which was a pleasant surprise considering its age. Our children enjoyed staying in one of the cabins, and we could imagine the stories of the people who stayed here over the years. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the homemade scones and coffee were a real treat.

The historic room had a lovely ambiance, and the newly renovated bathroom was pristine. Despite the remote location, the lodge was clean and well-maintained. The self-serve breakfast was satisfactory once I figured it out.

Although there were a few drawbacks, such as the lack of heat instructions and a non-functioning lock, these were minor inconveniences. The rustic charm of the lodge and its authentic historical feel more than made up for these small issues.
