The value for money was excellent and the room was surprisingly good, with a newly decorated king size bed. The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything, and the staff treated us like family.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right next to the beach and near to everything. We could easily walk around the town and explore the vibrant surroundings. The room was well-appointed with comfortable beds and quality towels. The staff was exceptional and incredibly helpful, making us feel right at home. The pool was beautiful and inviting, perfect for a relaxing day under the sun. a fantastic experience!

The walls were a bit thin, allowing us to hear conversations from neighboring rooms at times.

my recent stay in tamarindo was amazing, but this time at mar rey it was even better! the beautiful pool, lovely grounds, and convenient location made our honeymoon unforgettable. special shoutouts to the attentive night guard and efficient daily cleaning person - they really made us feel taken care of.

We had a fantastic stay at Mar Rey! the hotel's location was perfect, just a 1-minute walk to the beach and right in the center of town. Everything was within walking distance, and we loved being able to park our car on the property for free. the pool was great, and we enjoyed using the outside kitchen for BBQs. the owner was always around, taking excellent care of the place. We can't wait to come back!

Just 2 minutes from the beach, Hotel Mar Rey was in the perfect location in the heart of everything. I loved the spacious rooms, reliable WiFi, and the added bonus of having a fridge and coffee machine. the terrace was a lovely touch. Special mention to Andreina at the reception, who was extremely kind and helped me plan my trips.

We had a wonderful stay at a hotel steps from the beach. The location was perfect, just a short walk across the street and we were on the beautiful beach. The grounds were well-maintained and the pool was large and inviting. We loved using the covered outdoor kitchen for BBQs and there were plenty of tables and chairs for lounging. Our room had a balcony with chairs and shade, and the staff was extremely nice and attentive. The amenities in the room, such as the large fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and TV with satellite, were very convenient. The WiFi was strong and fast. The value for the money in this location was excellent as we could easily walk to all the restaurants, bars, and stores in under 2 minutes. we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

While the bed wasn't the best, it wasn't bad either. The only other drawback was the noise from the busy street, especially in the mornings.
