I recently stayed at Gold Dust West for a weekend getaway with my wife. The room was incredibly clean and quiet, with no trace of smoke odor. Parking was easy and the amenities in the suite were impressive. The double queen spa room was massive, twice the size of a standard hotel room, complete with a living room and kitchenette. The in-room spa tub was a highlight of our stay. We also had a great time at the on-site bowling alley, enjoying the Glow Bowl in the evenings. The multiple access points around the building made it convenient for us to quickly get to our room after our day trips to Tahoe. Lastly, the location felt safe and secure, with no questionable people around. it was a fantastic experience at Gold Dust West.

Our stay at Gold Dust West was fantastic! We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel/casino, which was larger and nicer than we expected. The staff was friendly and check-in/check-out was a breeze. The spacious rooms were comfortable and had a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The casino offered great promotions, including free play and points, which earned us a free prime rib dinner. We even won over $500 on the slots! The attached bowling alley, pool, hot tub, and exercise room provided great entertainment options. We can't wait to stay here again!

As a solo traveler, I appreciated the friendly staff, clean rooms, and complimentary breakfast. The in-house bowling alley, casino, and Mexican restaurant were great additions to keep me entertained. The hotel also had a comfortable bed and a pool that was easy to access despite a thunderstorm.

They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and always had a smile on their faces. the atmosphere in the casino was lively and enjoyable, and we didn't have to go through it to access the hotel, which was a plus. the rooms were spacious and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a good balance of firmness and softness. We also appreciated the separate smoking and non-smoking areas, as we had booked a non-smoking room and didn't smell any smoke at all. a great experience!

I stayed at Gold Dust West in Carson City for three nights and it was a great experience. The double queen spa room was incredibly spacious, with a living room and kitchenette included. The in-room spa tub was amazing and perfect for relaxation. The hotel also had a bowling alley on-site, which offered Glow Bowl weekend evenings that were a lot of fun. The staff was friendly and the location was central, making it easy to access different attractions in the area. Plus, the free breakfast at the hotel restaurant was a nice perk.

Exceptional experience during my Christmas stay! Loved the convenient location, just a short drive away from Lake Tahoe's happening parts. The on-site restaurants and bowling alley were a great added bonus. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean, offering everything we needed for a cozy holiday getaway. We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing breakfast platters, which were a step above the usual minimal hot food served at other places. Definitely a great value for the price, especially for our group of 20!

Disliked that the fitness center was lacking equipment, with no treadmill available. Also, it would have been even better if the pool and hot tub were indoors, especially during the winter season.
