The Grand Gables Inn is a charming Victorian B&B with a cozy atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is accommodating. The location, near the St. Johns River, offers a peaceful and scenic setting. The inn is also pet friendly, making it feel like a home away from home. The proximity to downtown, shops, and restaurants is a bonus.

I had a fantastic stay at a charming B&B that offered a truly authentic experience. The beautiful historic building with its 1880's-themed decor was a sight to behold. The rooms were beautiful, and I particularly loved the tour of the house that gave me a glimpse into its fascinating history. The breakfast, though simple, was satisfying, and I appreciated that it was ready as soon as I sat down. I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this inn.

I had the most amazing stay at the hotel. The location was perfect, just one block away from the beautiful river. I loved walking along the Riverwalk and taking in the stunning views. The hotel itself was like a museum, with its gorgeous architecture and rich history. The owners, Tate and his wife, were incredibly welcoming and gave a fantastic guided tour of the entire house. It was fascinating to learn about the hotel's background. The breakfast provided was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Cleanliness and hotel facilities were top-notch.

We got a great value for our money at this unique and charming hotel. The room was clean, stylish, spacious, and had a beautiful period 4 poster bed. The location was perfect, right on the river and within walking distance to downtown, shops, and restaurants. The staff/owner were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They even gave us a tour of the fascinating property and shared the history of the building.

The food for breakfast could have been better. It would have been nice to have a larger variety of options and perhaps freshly cooked eggs instead of just scrambled.

Everything was spot on.

What a delightful stay! The inn breathes history and charm, with lovely owners that made us feel at home. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary guided tour of the building's past and usage, and the complementary cold drinks served throughout the stay. The location was perfect for us, being close to the town center and a short drive to the river. We could also unwind in the beautiful garden in the backyard, and were lucky enough to witness a stunning sunset every evening.

Although overall it was a fantastic experience, the breakfast could have been improved with more variety and freshness. The prepared dishes, although tasted nice, had a reheated and frozen feel to them.

The value for money at this place was outstanding. The room was cozy and very well-maintained. The location was perfect, right by the river and within walking distance to downtown and all the shops and restaurants. The staff treated us like family and made us feel right at home.
