amazing views & cozy vibes!

We had such a fab time celebrating our 20th anniversary! The staff was super helpful, especially when they saved me by bringing a microwave to our room. Loved chillin' on the balcony with that stunning ocean view—definitely the highlight! Just wish the picnic area had better seating options.

Staying at the Grand View Hotel felt like getting front-row seats to nature's greatest show, right from my balcony! The corner room delivered stunning ocean views on two sides, and I enjoyed the sweet sound of waves crashing while I comfortably lounged in bed. The indoor pool was a treat, especially since my kids dove in with glee, despite the water being a bit on the chilly side. And when we needed a microwave, the hotel staff zoomed to our rescue, bringing one right up to our room quicker than a seagull snatching a fry! Simply delightful!

i had an amazing time at the grand view during my break on a long journey. the ocean view from our room was absolutely stunning, and the balconies were cozy, allowing us to unwind. it exceeded my expectations after visiting york before and made our stay truly special.

the views from the balcony are absolutely beautifull, like wow! chilled there every night listenin to the waves rollin in, super relaxin. the room was clean and the beds were nice, comfy enough for a good sleep. and you can walk to restaurants super easy, which is cool for dinner plans.

but the bathroom was kinda tiny with no shelf space to put anything, and the stairs were real narrow, hard to carry bags up.

The rooms provide stunning ocean views, especially from the nice balconies on the upper floors where you can watch the sunrises. The balcony area features glass panel railings and comfortable furniture, which make for a cozy spot to unwind.

The rocky beach directly across the street isn’t great for swimming. however, a sandy beach is a short walk away. The upper floor stairs are steep and narrow, making it tricky to haul luggage up. While the room was adequate, it lacked counter space in the bathroom, and the bedding wasn't very comfortable. Also, the absence of a microwave in the room, despite requests, was a letdown, along with a non-functioning outlet in the bathroom that made drying hair a bit of a hassle.

Staying at the Grand View Hotel was like basking in a sunbeam—exceptionally warm and bright! With stunning ocean views from our private balcony, it felt like we were perched on top of a lighthouse. The sound of the waves lulling us to sleep was more soothing than a lullaby sung by a choir of angels. The indoor pool, although chilly, was a rescue boat for my two excited children! I wish they had a TV channel guide because, let’s face it, flipping channels is an Olympic sport in itself.
