This hotel had a nice selection of breakfast items with some awesome mini-glazed cinnamon rolls. The room was very spacious and comfortable, perfect for our event. The staff at the front desk was helpful, and the hotel's location was ideal for the areas of Ames we planned to visit, especially being just down the block from the Hickory Park restaurant.

I had a great last-minute stay here in this hotel, as my coworker and I were able to have separate rooms in the two-bedroom suite. The location of this hotel is very convenient, as you can easily walk to the nearby Old Chicago restaurant, which was especially useful in the cold weather. Additionally, the young man who checked me in was incredibly friendly. The breakfast offered at the hotel was pretty standard, but it was nice to have the option of blueberry waffles.
