We stayed for one evening, wanting to experience the dunes at sunset and sunrise, and the location was perfect for quick access to the national park. We had a fantastic stay at this hotel during our visit to the Sand Dunes National Park. The Deluxe Suite with a full kitchen was clean, spacious, and newly updated. The bed and linens were comfortable, and the view of the dunes from our room was breathtaking. The included breakfast had a great selection of food, including a waffle maker and better coffee than in our room. The price for the suite was very reasonable, considering the unobstructed view and the hummingbirds playing in the foreground.

We stayed at a wonderful hotel near Great Sand Dunes National Park. The newly updated and clean room we had was perfect for our needs. We loved having a full-sized fridge and the location was excellent. The staff was incredibly accommodating, even going the extra mile to get us a pizza when we arrived late in the evening. The breakfast provided a great start to our day, and the rental options for sand boards and sleds were a fantastic bonus. The highlight for us was the surprise of seeing hummingbirds near the feeders on the back porch, adding an extra touch of charm to our stay.

This rustic lodge is located closest to the entrance of the National Park, offering a unique and breathtaking experience. It's like camping but with the added comforts of a hot shower, a comfortable bed, and heating. Perfect for a solo traveler like me.

The location of this hotel was amazing, with stunning views overlooking the sand dunes. It was also conveniently situated next to the Great Sand Dunes National Park, making it easy to explore the area. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed the nice covered patio where I could relax during the hot weather. the mini, fridge and microwave in the room were also a great feature, allowing me to store and prepare my own food.

One major disappointment was that the indoor pool, which was listed as an amenity, was closed for the season. This information was not disclosed on the website or mentioned during check, in, causing confusion and disappointment.
