The Hallowell Rooming House was the perfect choice for me during my road trip. It was conveniently located near the main town center in downtown Hallowell, allowing me to easily explore the charming area on foot. The hotel facilities were exceptional - the rooms were clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the little extra touches like the lavender pillow spray and sleep machines that ensured a peaceful night's rest. The parking spots provided for each room added to a sense of safety and convenience. Additionally, the host Andrea went above and beyond, making me feel welcome with her hospitality and attention to detail.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully clean, comfortable, and stylish rooming house. Andrea, the host, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome with little extra touches like welcome chocolates and quality coffee. Our room had its own en-suite toilet and basin, which was a great convenience. We also had the media room/lounge to ourselves upstairs, adding to our overall comfort. the location near the river and in a historic area was absolutely lovely. For the price, this property is excellent.

We recently stayed at the Hallowell Rooming House for a weekend getaway and had a fantastic experience. The location was ideal, with a clean and beautiful area surrounding the hotel. The value we received was spectacular, considering all the amenities provided. From a fully equipped kitchen to a deck with a BBQ, hot tub, kayaks, and bikes, this place truly had everything we could ask for. The exercise room and sauna were a great bonus as well. The personal touch from the owner, who took the time to get to know us and make us feel at home, made our stay even more special. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

This charming hotel is ideally located, close to everything and with exceptional hostess Andrea. The rooms are equipped with fridges, charger ports, and office chairs. The shared kitchen is well-equipped and the entire place is very quiet. The Queen Suite with a river view is excellent, with special touches like a toothbrush holder and a large stocked refrigerator. The beautiful patio facing the river is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning.

The shower in one of the rooms is located two floors down in the gym.

This place is a jewel for travelers. Clean, comfortable and charming. The host was very helpful and the room was absolutely charming. Everything you could think of was provided: fridge, coffee, air conditioning, private bath with an excellent shower, access to shared kitchen and lounge. One of the best places we've stayed at.

The house was beautifully decorated and had a cozy atmosphere. the host was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. the house was also conveniently located near the river and within walking distance of downtown restaurants.

Finding parking was a bit challenging and there was no signage indicating the location of the house. In one of the rooms, the noise from upstairs guests walking around could be heard, so using the provided ear plugs and eye shades was necessary.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at this charming place. Our host was incredibly helpful, making sure all our needs were met. The room was lovely and had everything we could think of, including a fridge, coffee maker, and air conditioning. The private bath had an excellent shower, and we also had access to a shared kitchen and lounge. The view of the Kennebec River was a bonus, and the location was perfect, just a block away from shops and restaurants. This was truly one of the best places we've ever stayed at.

As adventure travelers, we loved the fully-stocked kitchen, access to laundry facilities, and the hot tub. It was great being close to the river and downtown restaurants. The room had everything we needed, from a fridge and kettle to a coffee maker and overhead fan. The decor was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. We also appreciated the door codes provided beforehand and the warm welcome we received upon arrival. we had a fantastic stay and wished we could have stayed longer.

We felt totally relaxed during our stay and had no complaints at all.
