The recently renovated room at Hampton Inn Heath-Newark had a nice firm mattress which allowed me to get a good night's sleep. The modern design of the room was a refreshing change from the typical layout of other hotels. The hotel grounds were well maintained and there was plenty of open space to enjoy the sunshine. The location was convenient for exploring the east and north sides of the area.

We loved that the pool was open till midnight, perfect for the kids! The complimentary coffee in the lobby was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the location was great.

Our stay was overshadowed by a few negative aspects. There were multiple kids' birthday parties happening during our stay, resulting in constant noise and disturbance.
