I had a room with a stunning view of Lake Superior at Hampton Inn. The spacious parking lot and friendly staff made me feel welcomed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to restaurants and downtown. The beach view from my comfortable room was a highlight. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of everything downtown, including good restaurants at lakeshore. The hotel is on the shore of picturesque Lake Superior, offering beautiful views. It is also very close to the main downtown area, making it convenient for exploring. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast area is well-stocked and offers a variety of options. The hotel also has a great pool and hot tub, as well as a spacious and well-equipped fitness room.

There are some minor issues with the boardwalk in front of the hotel, with some holes in the wooden walkway and missing bricks on a half wall. Although this doesn't significantly affect the overall experience, it takes away from the beauty of the water and poses a potential tripping hazard.

There were a couple of downsides to our experience. the mattress in our room was not very comfortable, as it had a noticeable sink in the middle.
