great spot for city strolls and local eats

My recent stay was wonderful, as the hotel is just a few steps from some great dining options like Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken and Reno's Roadhouse, which made it super easy to grab a bite after exploring the nearby Morehead Peddlers Mall, where I enjoyed a leisurely walk and discovered unique local crafts. however, the workout room could use better lighting to make evening exercise more enjoyable.

I was genuinely impressed with how spotless my King Room, Non-Smoking was, as I could hardly tell there had been any pets in the place! The staff was incredibly accommodating, helping my husband with parking his large truck despite the limited spots. Plus, the breakfast was delightful with a variety of options that beautifully suited my family’s needs!

The Hampton Inn Morehead offered clean and comfortable rooms, and the internet worked perfectly, making it a solid choice for business travelers. However, breakfast could be inconsistent, with some items running low during busy times. Ideal for a short stay, but improvements in breakfast service would enhance the experience.

I almost woudl have given a good review, but alas! The pool temperature was frigid, and nobody thought to address my discomfort. On top of that, the staff clearly ignored smoke-free policies, puffing away right by the entrance. I expect more for a hotel that boasts a 'Hampton' name. What a letdown, really!

The hotel is conveniently located near the interstate, making check-in easy after a long drive. My room was spotless and comfortable, equipped with modern amenities like a flat-screen TV and a fridge. The friendly staff made my stay even better, accommodating requests without hesitation.

The parking situation can be a bit tricky, especially during busy times.

I appreciated the two options the staff provided when two vehicles were parked incorrectly in handicap spaces. The check-in process was smooth, and the room was spacious enough for my family. I found the dining area accommodating for heating up our food, making the stay much easier. The night ambiance was pleasant, with a welcoming attitude from the front desk. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience during our visit.

Oh, those gyudon dishes around Morehead—absolute must-tries! The King Room was super clean, and you wouldn't even know there were pets in it. Plus, the staff went above and beyond to help my husband with parking, which was a nice touch.

Had a boss time, la! Staff were dead sound, especially the lady at check-in who sorted us a handicap room. The breakfast was spot on too! Only downside was the pool not being open which left me a bit gutted, to be fair. Overall, sound stay!
