My stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Chadds Ford was like stepping into a cozy, welcoming hug after a long day. The warm, friendly atmosphere felt like being greeted by your favorite aunt at a family reunion. The staff was attentive, and even the front desk gal, Ann, went above and beyond, making me feel at home before I even settled into my room. It was squeaky clean, the beds were beyond comfortable, almost snuggly, and the breakfast spread was delightful with a variety of options. I particularly enjoyed fresh fruit paired with warm, fluffy waffles, a true breakfast superhero! Every morning, it was like a buffet parade, and I couldn’t help but join the march towards deliciousness!

The popcorn bar with a variety of toppings in the lobby was a delightful surprise, adding a fun twist to my stay. The pool was pleasantly warm, and the hot tub felt just right after a long day.

The mattresses were old and uncomfortable, which made sleeping a challenge. There was a noticeable lack of cleanliness with housekeeping only coming every other day, and they didn't even take out the trash daily. Breakfast had limited options, and while there was a motion detector in the bathroom, it was a nuisance when trying to figure out the lighting. The gym could use some more equipment, and the air conditioning was a bit noisy. On top of it, the hotel only provided two small complimentary water bottles at check-in, which hardly suffices for multiple days.

I enjoyed the spacious king suite, which had a modern feel and was spotlessly clean. The soundproofing was impressive, allowing for a peaceful sleep on the third floor, which is a huge plus for someone like me who appreciates a good night’s rest.

However, the breakfast was a bit of a letdown, especially the fresh-squeezed orange juice and hard-boiled eggs, which had an odd taste. Additionally, some amenities like the gym equipment felt sparse, and I encountered issues with the toilet that were not resolved in a timely manner.

The hotel’s location was ideal for visiting nearby attractions like Longwood Gardens, making it easy to explore. The soundproofing was impressive, allowing for a peaceful night’s sleep. I truly appreciated the thoughtful touches in the room, such as USB outlets and a well-equipped kitchenette.
