This hotel is a great value for money. The prices are very reasonable considering the location on the edge of the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University. The attention to detail in the rooms, with updated classic furnishings and separate bathroom en suite, was impressive. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and breakfast provided was delicious.

No negative aspects to mention.

The breakfast was delicious and homemade, and served with side fruits and juice. I stayed in the Red Room which was clean and roomy, though it lacked closet space. The B&B is conveniently located near restaurants and nightlife. Despite some drawbacks mentioned in other reviews, overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

The breakfast was delicious and served at a beautiful table where we met other guests. The location was great, within walking distance of the historic downtown. we highly recommend this B&B for a pleasant and relaxing stay.

The location of the bed and breakfast is ideal, with a grocery store nearby, close proximity to several exceptional restaurants, and situated in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are comfortable and romantic, with beautifully appointed historic decor. The service is friendly and the breakfast is delicious, with homemade scones that are unbelievably good. Additionally, guests have access to Netflix and the opportunity to meet interesting people with extensive travel stories.

The downtown area is a bit run down in some areas.

We had a lovely late Valentine trip at the charming Hardeman House. The heart shaped biscuits at breakfast were a delightful touch, and the coffee brought to our room was a great way to start the day. The red room we stayed in was beautifully furnished, with a super comfortable bed and the best sheets ever. We enjoyed exploring the downtown area, and the host was kind and interesting to talk to.

Didn't dislike anything about the property.

The rooms were nicely updated with classic furnishings. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The breakfast was delicious and the host was very kind and accommodating. The location was convenient, with easy access to downtown.

The internet was a bit slow and there weren't enough electric outlets in the room. The beds were on the firmer side, which may not be ideal for those who prefer a softer mattress.
